all the work is not uploaded because the site has been giving me a lot of trouble. originally, i wanted a cargo account but now you have to apply/be invited in order to join. i have to apply because ultimately i want to have my work up there. it will be much easier to organize my work on something else besides tumblr.
"To maintain the highest possible degree of quality, every site we initiate is by invite only. However, we frequently award memberships to unaffiliated talents who share a sample of their work (contact us)."
let's hope for the best!

UPDATED INFOGRAPHIC
final versions of my infographics on suicide. changed one of the images and changed the tone of all of them. i attempted putting them all on one page but it just didn't appeal to my eyes as much as they did when they were separated.

PACKAGING DESIGN - ROUND 2
i've now added character names and small, quick descriptions of each to further explain the look of each design.

PACKAGING DESIGN - UNFINISHED
i'm obsessed with a show from the UK called skins. in the show, skins refer to rolling papers used by the characters. it planted a seed in my head about redesigning packaging for rolling papers and naming them after the show. it kind of made me want to make a different packaging for each character because i thought that would be interesting as a fan, although i don't know if that is a good idea. here are the first three.

I LOVE TUMBLR
out of all the blogs ever, tumblr has to be my favorite. you can connect to sooo many people with all your same interests. it's such an addiction though, especially when you are a visual person O_O i find myself on there for hours.

INFOGRAPHIC: GAY SUICIDE RATE & SWIPE
finding the rate of gay/lesbian suicides is much harder than finding those categorized into race or gender. although i'm going to continue trying to find more information about homosexual suicide, i might have to just narrow it down to suicide in teens or some other category. i've just been infatuated with the rate of gay suicides. it's been 5 in less than a month due to bullying, and that is by every means disgusting. although my recent obsession with this has hindered me into getting into the design aspect of the project.

i may have overwhelmed myself on this one :/ this isn't even all the information i've stumbled upon, just some i chose to post up. i'm going to really have to delve into this and pull out what is significant so i can ACTUALLY design something this week.

i am in LOVE with the nicholas feltron reports. they are so clean yet busy at the same time, which is something i struggle with. i didn't post each report individually because visiting the website is completely worth the time. the 2005 reports are probably my favorites.
don't like the infographic above but i do like the theme of it just because of our day and age, and plus the more infographics i see, the better my mind will adjust to making one.

is this an infographic? unsure, but it's still rather interesting.

AMAZING FREE FONTS!
a site that appears to be very, very selective about the fonts they give out, since they only offer a handful. despite that, it is DEFINITELY quality over quantity on this one. great finds! enjoy!

V2: COLOR
cut down the 15 fonts to only 6 (even though it was supposed to be 3-4 i couldn’t give some up :/ ), added color and some texture. i feel like as i was making this i was trying to make a new and interesting way to engage in mythology without all the overly roman or greek decor. i wanted colors and textures to fit each god/goddess, while remaining big and bold.
